Planning subcontractors as if they were your own drivers
If you work with subcontractors, you want as much grip on their runs as on your own drivers'. In VYS TMS you simply put a subcontractor on a run. With the same app he sees his stops, reports loading and unloading and has the consignment note signed.
Putting a subcontractor on a run
A subcontractor is in the planning among your own drivers. You drag orders to his run, put the stops in order and optimise the route, exactly as with your own truck. On the same day you can plan your own drivers and subcontractors side by side.

- Runs and stops: with address, load, contact person and instructions.
- Arrival: registered automatically at the loading and unloading address.
- Loaded and unloaded: with one tap, including waiting time and the actual quantity.
- Consignment notes: signed on the phone or paper scanned.
- Photos: with an order, emailed to the customer.

Because the subcontractor works with the same app, his arrival times, consignment notes and photos come in exactly the same way. At the office and on the road you see live how far along he is.
Do you drive as a subcontractor yourself?
If you work on an hourly basis for a customer, you invoice that subcontracted work in VYS TMS on an hourly basis, with the daily invoicing per day. On the order you tick subcontracted work; it is then settled separately on the Subcontracted work tab instead of in the ordinary daily invoicing. More about invoicing.

Can I plan subcontractors and my own drivers on the same day?
Yes, they stand side by side in the same planning.
Does my customer get the consignment note of a subcontractor automatically too?
Yes. The consignment note is signed in the same way and emailed according to the customer's setting.
How do I invoice subcontracted work?
You invoice subcontracted work on an hourly basis, with the daily invoicing per day and a collective invoice per week or month.
