Transport planning in the app, also when you drive yourself
Planning does not have to happen behind a desk. In the VYS TMS app you see the same planning as a planner as you do at the office and you adjust it wherever you are. You do not have to, but you always can. VYS TMS is the only TMS where that is possible.
What you plan in the app
- Runs of the day: sortable by truck, driver or number of stops.
- The order pool: open and completed orders, per day, week or period.
- Assigning: linking an order to a run.
- Vehicle and driver: chosen per run.
- Stops: dragging, ticking off or removing.
- Adding blocks: a day task, task or note in the run.
- New orders: created straight away, on the road.
Live, just like at the office
The app and the planning board in the browser work with the same planning. What you change on the road is with your drivers and with fellow planners at the office straight away, and the other way round.
Looking along as the driver
With one press you log into the app as a planner in the account of one of your drivers. You see exactly what he sees, so you can help him remotely. A bar at the bottom shows that you are in driver mode, and with Back to admin you are a planner again.
Roles in the app
- Planner: sees and changes the whole planning.
- Super driver: picks up orders from the order pool himself, creates new ones and puts his stops in his own order.
- Driver: completes his runs and makes changes himself, such as a different tractor unit.
Who is this useful for?
- The planner who drives: in a small haulage company often the owner himself.
- Adjusting outside office hours: in the evening or at the weekend, without a laptop.
- Self-employed drivers: who arrange their own runs as super drivers.
Questions about planning from the app
Do I need a separate app to plan?
No. It is the same VYS TMS app, with the planner role.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes, the app is in the App Store and on Google Play.
Can I simply keep planning at the office?
Yes. Planning in the app is an option. The planning board in the browser works with the same planning.
Is VYS TMS really the only TMS that lets you plan from the app?
We know of no other TMS in which a planner manages the full planning in the app, including the order pool, runs and stops.
